Cookies & browser storage
Last updated: 27 May 2026
The short version
This portal does not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or any kind of third-party tracking. We only keep what's needed to sign you in and remember that you're signed in — nothing more.
What we store on your device
When you sign in, our login provider Auth0 issues a secure token that's saved in your browser's local storage. The portal sends that token to our API on every request to confirm who you are. Without it, you'd have to log in on every page load.
- Storage type: browser
localStorage(and a small in-memory cache). - What's in it: a signed JSON Web Token (JWT) from Auth0, plus its expiry timestamp.
- How long it lasts: until the token expires or you sign out.
- Why we need it: strictly necessary — the portal does not function without it.
First-party cookies on Auth0
During the sign-in flow, you're briefly redirected to our authentication provider's domain (auth0.com). Auth0 may set its own first-party cookies on that domain to manage the login session. We have no access to those cookies — they're governed by Auth0's privacy policy .
What we do not use
- Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or any other analytics tool.
- Advertising, retargeting, or marketing pixels.
- Social media share trackers (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Session-replay tools (Hotjar, FullStory, etc.).
- Any third-party tracking, period.
If that ever changes, we'll update this page and let you know.
Managing it yourself
Because we only use strictly-necessary storage, there's no cookie banner and nothing to opt out of. If you want to clear our stored token:
- Click Sign out in the top-right user menu, or
- Clear site data for this domain in your browser settings.
Clearing it just means you'll be asked to sign in again on your next visit.
